China Deploys 'Robocops' on Traffic Duty

How China's 'Robocops' Are Changing Traffic Enforcement China has deployed 15 robots in Hangzhou since May, which have issued over 170,000 warnings to motorists and pedestrians.

The T2 robots, developed by SUPCON Information, stand at 1. 88 meters tall and weigh 98 kilograms.

Equipped with cameras, radar, and onboard computing, they identify traffic infractions such as helmetless e bike riders or vehicles crossing stop lines.
